Angle stops
Basically an angle stop is the shut off
valve that you (should) have under all of your fixtures.
This is a picture of an older type called a speed flex.
This is a higher quality valve with a 1/4-turn feature. It comes in handy when you need it off now.
This is a straight stop common in older houses that have been re-piped from underneath the sub floor.
