Kitchen Faucets

Basically there are 4 types .

  1. Standard Deck Mount
  2. Pull Out Deck Mount
  3. Wall Mount
  4. Single handle single hole
  5. typical air gap, click here to see larger image A Deck Mount faucet (shown left) sits on top of the sink or the countertop directly behind the sink. It can be 2 handle or single handle. It can be single hole or 3 hole but it comes out of the deck.
    A pullout faucet is just that, the spout instead Pullout faucet with and without cable showing, 
click here to see larger image of being stationary that swivels from right to left is actually attached to a cable and can be pulled out in order to hose down the sink or maybe your kitchen helpers.
       The other type of kitchen faucet is a wall mount which Kohler wall mount type faucet, click here to see larger image means it is supplied by water pipes installed in the wall instead of under the sink, and the faucet hovers over the sink. Usually the sink is right underneath the faucet as opposed to having countertop space behind the sink.
    Most kitchen sinks are drilled at 8" centers
    There are kitchen faucets that will fit on a sink with one hole. That would be considered a single hole application where as a faucet with a plate would be considered an 8" application or three hole application.
